To create a website, a series of techniques are used with the help of which the pages are designed, from a visual point of view, as well as  from the point of view of the organization of the links and the placement of the content on the pages. After establishing the structure of a site, it is advisable to make a sketch of the entire site. A list of the graphic elements that will be included is then made: images, forms, multimedia files, forms, tables, frames, navigation & links, accompanied by indications regarding their placement on the page.

When creating a complex site, there are difficulties in dividing the content into clear and distinct categories, which are easy to understand by readers. The titles of these categories can become labels for the buttons or graphic maps used for navigation.

Even so, the most typical  structure of a HTML webpage remains the one using a header, a nav bar, a main content area and a footer one.
